    He chaired the Electronic Publishing Committee of the International Publishers Association and was a member of the board of the Dutch-Belgian Institute for Lexicography . Dr J. Kist has written and published various articles and books about electronic publishing , information and communication science, innovation in the publishing industry and ancient Near Eastern Seals. This essay is adapted from the author's forthcoming book, "New Thinking for 21-st Century Publishers' , Oxford, Chandos Publishing.
